Passacaille ou Chaconne (Pieces de violes,1728) – Angels and Devils

Composer: François Couperin (1668-1733).

As a typical close to the suite we take the chaconne from the viola da gamba pieces by the great harpsichordist François Couperin, another of the outstanding figures of Louis XIV’s musical court.
