Summary
The concert took place at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, a leading cultural venue opened in 1991. Renowned for its excellent acoustics, the theatre hosts opera, concerts and stage productions of the highest level, and is home to the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, making it a benchmark for music and the arts in southern Spain.
La Corte, nuevas modas explores the refinement of the marionas and the influence of the new aesthetics that were reaching the palaces. Here, Patricia Guerrero’s dance incorporates new forms from the most traditional flamenco, reflecting the sophistication of the Golden Age aristocracy.
